For those that have not already looked the photos from the 2011 Turner Family Reunion are online. I posted over 100 photos. Group shots as well as candids including a couple dozen of the kids playing in the creek. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. We did not have as large a turnout as previous years, but we had several that had not been able to come in years. There was a small mix up with the invitations this year that worried some folks that they missed it when they didn’t get the invitations until after the date posted. Not positive, but from quick look at the calendar it should be July 7th next year. So hope to see yall there.

Just wanted to post a quick note to let folks know that the 2010 Family Reunion while still pretty warm was a lot of fun. Over 40 photos from this year’s reunion as well as some more random photos from the past are online.

I want to thank Hugh Turner for uploading some photos from the 2008, 2006, 2005 and 2004 Reunions.  Also thanks to Kim Gamble we have a few other photos in the Random album of some of our Loved ones that are no longer with us including a better photo than the print I had of Cordy Frank’s 50th Birthday party.

I hope everyone that was at the Reunion yesterday had as much fun as I did. For those that didn’t make it hope to see you there next year.

I only shot about a hundred photos during the day including multiple shots of group photos, but I hope I was able to get at least 1 or two of everyone besides the group shots. I did a rough count from the main group photo and counted give or take a few we had about one hundred people. So we definitely had a good turn out. There are a total of 74 photos in the two albums, 54 random shots through out the day and 20 of the group shots. As I asked yesterday any help in identifying people in the photos would be greatly appreciated. I will be doing a few things to the site this week including a link for any suggestions for the site. I hope to also make it easier for people to help update the site with new photos, names of people in the photos,,,,, I know several people had cameras with you so please contact me so I can get your best photos online.

Before I close I want to personally thank everyone that came yesterday. It was good seeing family I had not seen in a while as well as meeting ones for the first time. I also want to thank everyone that helped set the reunion up. I have put on a few smaller events over the years and I know how much hard work it was.

I hope you are looking forward to the 2009 Reunion July 4th at Big Daddy’s Waterfall Park. I plan on being there with my camera and hope to get some good photos for the site.

In the mean time Sandra sent me another disc of photos. Near a hundred photos have been added to the 2004 album and a dozen or so more have been added to the 2005 album. As well as in their respective folders you can always see the latest photos added to the site on the Latest Updates Page.

I am sorry it has taken so long to get the site going and new photos online, but as we speak over 300 photos from the 2008 Family Reunion are uploading thanks to Sandra.

She provided me with a disc full of the photos and has also given me other discs full of photos from past Reunions to upload. I will be working on sorting and uploading those this week. She is also working on sorting more photos to be uploaded and I have many more Family photos from the past 50 or more years to scan and load. Anyone else that has photos from past Reunions or any kind of Family Event be sure to contact me so I can help set up an account for you to load them or get them to me to load.
